Release: Six Current and Former Women State Senators Endorse Cinde Warmington

May 8, 2020 (Concord, N.H.) – Six current and former members of the New Hampshire State Senate, all women, are endorsing Cinde Warmington for Executive Council District 2. The senators’ endorsements kicked off an “Endorsement a Day in May” series, with the Warmington campaign announcing new elected and activist supporters every day this month on Twitter and Facebook.

“When I was in the New Hampshire Senate, Cinde and I worked together successfully to change state law to expand access to substance use disorder treatment,” said former state Sen. Katie Wheeler. “With everything at stake in this election, we need to put our best candidates forward up and down the ballot. Cinde is unequivocally the most experienced and qualified candidate and brings an important health care perspective that we need on the Executive Council.”

“I’ve worked with Cinde on several Democratic Party platforms,” said Sen. Cindy Rosenwald. “She’s patient and welcoming. She remembers everything. She’s so good at synthesizing various perspectives and presenting them in a way that searches out unity. I’m proud to endorse her.”

“These women are an inspiration for all they have accomplished in the state Senate,” said Warmington. “The support of legislators who know what kind of leadership we need on the Executive Council is so important to me. I hope to continue the tradition they have set, pushing for progress on issues like fair wages, access to reproductive and mental health care, and protecting our fundamental rights.”
