To the Editor:
I’m proud to support Cinde Warmington for Executive Council, District 2 in the Sept. 8 primary.
When I first met Cinde, I was immediately impressed by her commitment to community and her strong background in science and healthcare. She’s been a front line healthcare worker, worked on healthcare contracts for decades, and advocates tirelessly for mental health organizations.
She brings with her an important background and a skill set that we need on the Executive Council. As we work to reimagine what our future looks like, our district needs a Councilor who brings experience, knowledge, humility, and thoughtfulness to the role. These are important qualities in public service at any time, but especially right now.
As we think more about how we recover and rebuild from COVID-19 and the underlying issues the pandemic has exposed, we need a Councilor who understands both the immediate challenges to the healthcare system but one who will also look at the bigger picture of what a more equitable and sustainable future can look like for all.
Cinde will do that for us. I’m excited to support her as she does.
City Councilor, Dover
