Cinde Warmington Statement on Kelly Ayotte’s Data Center Pivot

MANCHESTER, NH — Today, Democratic candidate for governor Cinde Warmington released the following statement following a report that Kelly Ayotte supports a data center moratorium.

“For months, I have been the only candidate in this race who has called for a data center moratorium and released a comprehensive plan to address data center development.

“Kelly Ayotte had the opportunity to protect Granite Staters from data centers. Instead, she signed a law welcoming them because the same corporations building data centers across the country are bankrolling her campaign to the tune of $138,000. 

“The truth is Kelly doesn't care about protecting Granite Staters from corporate special interests and she never has. Make no mistake: Kelly Ayotte would welcome a giant data center into our state as soon as we get past November.”
