PRESS RELEASE

Cinde Warmington Statement on Ten-Year Transportation Plan

MANCHESTER, NH  — Today, Democratic candidate for governor Cinde Warmington released the following statement on the Legislature’s vote to override Kelly Ayotte’s reckless veto of the Ten-Year Transportation Plan.

“While I’m glad that the Legislature was able to overwhelmingly override this veto and ensure that our roads and bridges remain safe to drive on, New Hampshire is overdue for a change in the corner office. Make no mistake: Kelly Ayotte would rather impose higher vehicle registration fees on Granite Staters instead of higher tolls for out-of-state drivers. This is just more of the same failed leadership that working families are sick and tired of — and have only come to expect from Kelly Ayotte. After November, Granite Staters will have a governor who puts them first.”
