Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund PAC Endorses Cinde Warmington for Governor

CONCORD, NH — Today, Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund PAC endorsed Cinde Warmington for governor. 

“Throughout her public service career, Cinde Warmington has understood that reproductive health and rights are not negotiable, and she has acted accordingly. The Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC is thrilled to endorse Cinde Warmington for governor, along with an excellent slate of candidates to serve with her on the Executive Council,” said Nicole Clegg, on behalf of the Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC. “Working together, these candidates for the Executive Branch will prioritize public health, defend the rights of Granite Staters, and protect our reproductive freedom from national and state attacks.”

Granite Staters don’t need the government telling them what they can do with our bodies, and they certainly don’t need politicians in their exam rooms,” said Cinde Warmington, Democratic candidate for governor. “As the only Democrat on the Executive Council, I was proud to stand up for reproductive care. When I get to the governor’s office, I will continue fighting every single day to protect the freedom of Granite Staters to make their own health care decisions and stand up to Donald Trump’s assault on reproductive freedoms.”

Cinde Warmington has a proven track record of supporting access to reproductive care and believes everyone should have the freedom to make their own health care decisions. When the first contracts were brought forward to fund family planning services provided by Planned Parenthood, Equality Health Center, Joan G. Lovering Health Center, and others, Warmington was the lone voice on the Executive Council standing up for reproductive rights. 

Over the course of her career, Kelly Ayotte has repeatedly restricted Granite Staters’ reproductive care. Ayotte voted for a 20-week nationwide abortion ban, supported allowing employers and insurance companies to refuse coverage of IVF, and was the sherpa for Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, who overturned Roe v. Wade. Under Ayotte, New Hampshire was the lone New England state that refused to join any of the amicus briefs protecting access to mifepristone.  

In addition to Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund PAC, Warmington has been endorsed by other organizations focused on protecting reproductive rights, including the OB-GYN PAC and the National Women’s Political Caucus.
