ICYMI: Cinde Warmington Visits Berlin on Cut the Costs Tour
BERLIN, NH — In Case You Missed It, Democratic nominee for governor Cinde Warmington continued her Cut the Costs tour with a stop at White Mountain Lumber in Berlin. While on the tour, Cinde heard firsthand about the impact of Donald Trump's trade wars, rising energy prices, and workforce challenges.
As governor, Cinde will stand up for small businesses who are bearing the brunt of reckless tariffs, especially those in the North Country who have been hurt by Trump’s trade wars with Canada — pushing for tariff refunds, joining other states challenging the Trump administration’s illegal tariffs in court, and working to repair New Hampshire’s relationship with Canada.

Warmington, the Democratic nominee for governor, toured White Mountain Lumber in Berlin on Thursday afternoon.
"Small businesses are the backbone of our economy here in New Hampshire, and we need to make sure we support them, and that means making sure they have the infrastructure they need, the workforce they need," Warmington said. "That means addressing housing and childcare."
Warmington said she's focused on working to lower costs for families and businesses. If elected, she said she would not be looking to raise business taxes.
"Honestly, I cannot even imagine putting an additional tax burden on our small businesses that are already struggling so much, especially up here in the North Country, where they're feeling the biggest impact of Donald Trump's tariffs and his trade wars with Canada," Warmington said.
