In First Financial Filing, Warmington Reports More Than 1,900 Individual Contributions, 92% of Total Contributions From Granite Staters

MANCHESTER, NH — Today, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cinde Warmington reported she has raised over $600,000 since launching her bid for the governor’s office less than four months ago.

“Granite Staters are supporting Cinde because they are sick and tired of the costs, chaos, and corruption of Kelly Ayotte. They need Cinde in the governor’s office fighting for a better, more affordable New Hampshire, where working families can actually get ahead,” said Campaign Manager Andrea Cervone. “Throughout these next few months, Cinde will continue having face-to-face conversations with Granite Staters about the challenges they face and build the grassroots movement that will send Kelly Ayotte back to the corporate boardroom.”

Warmington’s campaign is being fueled by Granite Staters in every one of New Hampshire’s ten counties, with 92% of total contributions from Granite Staters. Warmington continues to build a grassroots, people-powered movement; 72% of contributions were $100 or less and Warmington received more than 1,900 individual contributions.

Since launching her campaign in February, Warmington has been building momentum in the governor’s race, gaining the support and endorsements of the entire New Hampshire Congressional delegation, along with more than 100 current or former members of the U.S. Congress, New Hampshire’s State House, and State Senate, and organized labor. Warmington recently opened up her campaign headquarters in Manchester, crowded with supporters ready to help deliver a better, more affordable future.

Cinde remains within a single-digit margin of defeating Kelly Ayotte — the exact same margin that John Lynch had before trouncing Republican incumbent governor Craig Benson in 2004. Ayotte has the worst approval ratings of any first-term New Hampshire Governor in more than 30 years, and has failing scores from voters on the issues that matter most, including housing, taxes, and the cost of living.
