PRESS RELEASE

National Women’s Political Caucus Endorses Cinde Warmington for Governor

MANCHESTER, NH — Today, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) — a grassroots organization dedicated
to identifying, recruiting, training and supporting women candidates for elected and appointed office — endorsed Cinde Warmington for governor.

“While serving on the Executive Council, Cinde was a steadfast advocate for working families who needed a fighter in Concord — especially when it came to defending women’s reproductive rights,” said Tracy Van Houten, NWPC Vice President of Political Planning and Outreach. “With so much on the line this November, Granite Staters need Cinde in the corner office.”

“I am grateful to have the National Women’s Political Caucus on our team,” said Cinde Warmington. “The NWPC has done critical work to elect pro-choice women — at all levels of government — who are defending reproductive freedoms that have been stripped away by extremist politicians. Just as I did on the Executive Council, I’ll fight to make sure that Granite Staters have the freedom to make their own individual health decisions, free of political interference."

Cinde has a long and proven track record of protecting access to reproductive care. As the only Democrat on the Executive Council and highest-ranking Democrat in state government, she stood up against Governor Sununu’s abortion ban, urged the governor to issue an executive order protecting health care providers from prosecution if they performed an abortion on an out-of-state resident after Roe v. Wade was overturned, and demanded the Attorney General take specific actions to protect access to mifepristone.
