New Hampshire AFL-CIO Endorses Cinde Warmington for Governor
MANCHESTER, NH — Ahead of Labor Day, the New Hampshire AFL-CIO endorsed Cinde Warmington for governor, highlighting Cinde’s longstanding support for organized labor and working families. The New Hampshire AFL-CIO represents over 35,000 workers across New Hampshire and is the state’s largest labor federation.
“The New Hampshire AFL-CIO Executive Council voted to endorse Councilor Warmington after reviewing her record and her positions on the issues our members face at work and at home,” said Glenn Brackett, President of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO. “Our organization has worked with Cinde for years, and she knows labor unions are the key to a strong middle-class, and a strong middle-class is the key to a prosperous America. Cinde will always look out for regular people and won’t sell our state out to the billionaire elites. Right now, Elon Musk could move to New Hampshire and receive school vouchers to pay for his fourteen children to go to private school. Having Cinde in the corner office will ensure that public funds stay with public schools, and that the most vulnerable members of our communities are taken care of, despite which zip code they call home.”
“I’m honored to have the support of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO and the working people they represent across our state,” said Cinde Warmington. “Under Kelly Ayotte, New Hampshire families are working harder than ever to keep up with rising costs. I’m proud to stand with the workers who are at the foundation of our state’s middle class. As governor, I’ll always defend their right to organize and bargain for better wages and working conditions.”
The New Hampshire AFL-CIO joins a growing coalition of labor organizations supporting Cinde’s campaign for governor, including Iron Workers Local 7, American Postal Workers Union Local #230, Teamsters Local 633, and the American Federation of Teachers-New Hampshire.
