Billboard Truck Puts Costly Kelly’s Data Center Record on Display

MANCHESTER, NH — In Case You Missed It, the Cinde Warmington campaign deployed a digital billboard truck across Concord and Manchester — including a stop outside the New Hampshire Republican Party’s breakfast — to highlight how Kelly Ayotte has rolled out the red carpet for data centers to expand across New Hampshire. 

“Kelly Ayotte can’t rewrite her record here — she signed the law that opens up the doors for data centers to expand across the state and let all the bills reining them in die, all while being bankrolled by Big Tech,” said Jon Levin, Communications Director. “Granite Staters can see right through Kelly’s pathetic political pivot. As another data center looms large over the state, we’ll be making sure voters know her full record when they head to the polls.”  

After months of refusing to “support a statewide data center moratorium,” Kelly Ayotte recently scrambled to change course. Meanwhile, Ayotte signed a bill that opens up the door for data centers to expand across New Hampshire and has accepted nearly $138,000 from the data center industry while running for governor. And while Ayotte has claimed she’s focused on ratepayers and wants to “reduce energy prices,” electricity costs have climbed 15% under her failed leadership.  

Since the end of May, Cinde has consistently voiced support for a data center moratorium and has pledged to issue a moratorium executive order on Day One as governor. During this pause, Cinde will champion a regulatory framework built around a Community Bill of Rights that protects Granite Staters, makes sure data centers pay their fair share, and ensures the quality of drinking water.
