CONCORD — After Kelly Ayotte failed to join a coalition of two dozen states suing Donald Trump for imposing new tariffs following his Supreme Court loss, Democratic candidate for Governor Cinde Warmington released the following statement. 

“Donald Trump’s tariffs are driving up prices for hard-working Granite State families and small businesses. But instead of joining the dozens of governors and attorneys general who took Trump to court over them, Kelly Ayotte is again cowering in the corner office. 

“She doesn’t have what it takes to stand up to Donald Trump’s costly agenda, whether it’s tariffs that are sending grocery prices through the roof, or the ICE human warehouse he has tried to force into our state. Unlike Kelly, I’m not afraid to take on Donald Trump — and when I’m Governor, I will.”
