Cinde Warmington Challenges Kelly Ayotte to Six General Election Debates

MANCHESTER, NH — Today, Democratic candidate for governor Cinde Warmington challenged Kelly Ayotte to participate in six general election debates.

“Costly Kelly can run TV ads trying to rewrite her abysmal record, but Granite Staters are living with skyrocketing, budget-busting costs because of Kelly's failed leadership and refusal to stand up to Donald Trump,” said Andrea Cervone, Campaign Manager. “This race offers a clear choice, and there’s no better place to see it than on the debate stage where Kelly can’t hide behind a TV ad. There’s only one candidate, Cinde Warmington, who will take on Trump and work to bring down costs for working families.”

The general election debates should be held beginning the week of September 14 — immediately following the September 8 primary. All debates should be either televised or live-streamed to ensure voters across the state have the opportunity to hear from the candidates before Election Day.
