Cinde Warmington Statement on the One-Year Anniversary of the Big Ugly Bill
MANCHESTER, NH — Ahead of the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump’s disastrous Big Ugly Bill, Democratic candidate for governor Cinde Warmington released the following statement.
“A year ago, Donald Trump unleashed pain on the most vulnerable Granite Staters with his Big Ugly Bill, slashing health care coverage, cutting food assistance, and driving up energy prices. Not only has Kelly Ayotte stood by while working families pay the price — she’s made it worse with her own Medicaid cuts, forcing thousands of Granite Staters to pay more for health coverage and prescription drugs.
“At this critical moment, governors are the last line of defense against the nonstop chaos coming from this White House. As the only Democrat on the Executive Council, I stood up to extremism and fought for working Granite Staters. That’s the exact same fight I’ll bring to the corner office anytime Donald Trump harms our state.”
